Come and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine as we gear up and rally momentum for WFUV’s annual On the Record event on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. On the Record is a celebration of achievement in news and sports broadcasting where WFUV honors news and sports media professionals with the Charles Osgood Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and the Vin Scully Lifetime Achievement Award in Sports Broadcasting—named after two Fordham Alumni who excelled in their broadcasting careers.
To preserve the tradition and to continue to make headlines, WFUV provides a comprehensive training program that offers paid internships and workshops which include state-of-the-art training in multiplatform journalism, engineering, and production.
On the Record recognizes and awards two exceptional student broadcasters in news and sports who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing media careers. We hope you help us kick-off what continues to be a wonderful tradition in honoring the next generation of news and sports journalists!
