The Future of Human Expertise in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: An Interfaith Conversation

Tuesday, November 16, 2021
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

How far should artificial intelligence be entrusted to assume tasks once performed by humans? What is gained and lost when it does? What is the optimal mix of robotic and human interaction? We invite you to a conversation with Frank Pasquale, professor, Brooklyn Law School; Zahra Takhshid, assistant professor, University of Denver Sturm College of Law; and Rabbi Ariel Evan Mayse, assistant professor, Stanford University.

Pasquale’s book, New Laws of Robotics: Defending Human Expertise in the Age of AI, makes the case that policymakers must not allow corporations or engineers to answer these questions alone.

This webinar will explore his vision of technological progress, in which human expertise is the irreplaceable center of an inclusive economy through interfaith lenses.
