St. Ignatius Loyola always urged retreatants to be keenly aware of their life circumstances—what was going on interiorly in the heart and exteriorly in the world and in the Church. During our preached weekend retreat, we will look into the signs of the times by the light of faith and pray to devote ourselves more wholeheartedly to the service of the Gospel. Through our baptismal commitment, we want to be attentive to the needs of all. Through sharing their grief and pain, their joy and hope, we may faithfully proclaim the healing that Christ brings to our fractured and broken world and the Church. Through our weekend retreat, we want to become more courageous and bold in sharing Christ’s mission in our world today.
The retreat begins on Friday evening with dinner at 7 p.m. and ends on Sunday after Mass and lunch around 1 p.m. It will be led by the Rev. Tom Marciniak, S.J., and Karen Florance.
