TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — Sixteen artists who graduated from Marymount College between the years 1956 and 1992 will return to campus to take part in a wide-ranging alumnae art exhibition from Oct. 7 through Nov. 27 in Butler Gallery, Butler Hall, Marymount College of Fordham University. A gallery reception with the artists will take place Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

“Butler Gallery is dedicated to showing the work of emerging and established women artists from the New York area,” said David Holt, professor of art and gallery coordinator at Marymount College. “We are especially proud of our art alumnae. They have impressive histories of receiving grants, fellowships and artist residencies, as well as representation in important corporate and public collections.”

Featuring more than two dozen works—including paintings, illustrations, prints and sculptures—the show will celebrate the collective achievements of these artists.
