Annual Food, Coat and Toy Drives to Brighten Holidays for Less Fortunate

The Dorothy Day Center for Service and Justice, Global Outreach and Office of Campus Ministry are teaming up this holiday season to collect food, warm clothing and toys for the needy.

To help make this winter more joyful for those in need, please consider donating.

Food Drive
Please bring non-perishable and canned foods to the locations listed below.

Now through Nov. 21
• Rose Hill: McGinley Center rooms 101 and 102
• Lincoln Center: Bins under the Mission and Ministry board on Lowenstein Plaza
Dec. 1 to 17
• Westchester: Bins in the main lobby

Coat Drive
Clean coats, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and boots in good condition are urgently needed.

Nov. 28 to Dec. 9
• Rose Hill: McGinley Center rooms 101 and 102
• Lincoln Center: Bins under the Mission and Ministry board on Lowenstein Plaza
Dec. 1 to 17
• Westchester: Hats, gloves, mittens and scarves will be collected on the “Mitten Tree” in the main lobby.

Toy Drive

Nov. 28 to Dec. 9

• Rose Hill: Fordham Big Brothers and Big Sisters are collecting unwrapped, nonviolent toys appropriate for newborns to teenagers. Toys and monetary donations will be collected in McGinley Center rooms 101 and 102, and prior to the Festival of Lessons and Carols at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, in the University Church.
• Lincoln Center: Unwrapped, nonviolent toys appropriate for newborns to teenagers will be collected to benefit Hour Children. Toys and monetary donations will be collected in the Lowenstein Center room 217, and prior to the Festival of Lessons and Carols at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Church of St. Paul the Apostle.

Nov. 28 to Dec. 15

• Westchester: Unwrapped, nonviolent toys appropriate for newborns to teenagers will be collected to benefit Hour Children. Toys and monetary donations will be collected in room 133.
