Fordham Mourns Death of Federal Judge Deborah Batts

Deborah Batts, who was the first African American member of the Fordham Law faculty and a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York, died on Feb. 2 at age 72. She is survived by her wife, Dr. Gwen Zornberg, and her children, James and Alexandra McCown.
