Cardinal Dulles To Lecture On The Church and Lawyering

Avery Cardinal Dulles, S.J., the Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society, will present a lecture titled “Catholic Social Teaching and American Legal Practice,” on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. in the McNally Amphitheatre, Fordham University School of Law, 140 W. 62nd St. The event is free, but tickets are required. The lecture will mark the inauguration of the Fordham’s Catholic Lawyers Program. The program will provide a forum for lectures and workshops that engage in intellectual and spiritual dialogue about church teaching and lawyering. The cardinal’s talk will be followed by a response from Law School Dean John D. Feerick and alumna Jennifer Mone (LAW ’93) of Farrell Fritz in Uniondale, N.Y.
