University Opens School Year with Mass of the Holy Spirit

fr_mcshane_students_1Faculty, students and staff marked the opening of the school year with a Mass of the Holy Spirit on each campus. The Mass was celebrated by Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of the University, at St. Paul the Apostle Church, at the Lincoln Center campus, on Wednesday Sept. 13; and at the University Church, at the Rose Hill campus, on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Patrick J. Ryan, S.J., vice president for mission and ministry, and Joseph Currie, S.J., director of campus ministry, celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit in Butler Chapel, Marymount College, on Thursday, Sept. 21.
