assistant professor of clinical psychology, and David S. Glenwick, Ph.D., A&S, professor of psychology, published “The Psychological Challenges of Solid Organ Transplant Recipients During Childhood” in Pediatric Transplantation. Annunziato also published “Facilitating Transitions to Adulthood for Youth With Special Health Care Needs” in the NYSPA Notebook.

Tina Benko, A&S,
adjunct professor of acting, was nominated for the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show for the Women’s Project Theater’s production of Jackie.

John Carey, Ph.D., BUS,
professor of communications and media management, co-authored and published “The Prehistory of the Internet and its Traces in the Present: Implications for Defining the Field,” in The Oxford Handbook of Internet Studies (Oxford University Press, 2013).

Benjamin M. Cole, Ph.D., BUS,
assistant professor of management, has been named a finalist for the Gustavson School of Business Award for the Best Qualitative Paper in International Business.

Elaine Congress, D.S.W., GSS,
associate dean of GSS and professor of social work, published two chapters, one on Health and Ethics and the second on Immigrant Health, in the Handbook for Public Health Social Work.

George Demacopoulos, Ph.D., A&S,
associate professor of theology, delivered a lecture, “History, Theory, and Eastern Christian Text; What Postcolonial Critics and Scholars of Later Byzantium can Learn from One Another,” at an April conference at Duke University.

Claire Donato, A&S,
adjunct instructor of English, recently published Burial (Tarpaulin Sky Press, 2013).

John A. Fortunato, Ph.D., BUS,
professor in communication and media management, published a chapter, “Television Broadcast Rights: Still the Golden Goose” in the Routledge Handbook of Sport Communication.

Joan Roberts, Ph.D., A&S,
professor of chemistry, gave a talk, “Lighting and Human Health,” at Lightfair International on April 25.

Guy Robinson, Ph.D., A&S,
instructor of biology, gave a talk, “Coming Back to Africa: The Loss of Global Megafauna in Neartime,” for The New York Paleontological Society at the American Museum of Natural History on April 21.

Howard Robinson, D.S.W., GSS,
clinical assistant professor of social work, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach about trauma intervention with children, adolescents, and their families at Tel Hai College in Kiryat Shmonah, Israel, and will be departing in September of 2013.

Patrick J. Ryan, S.J., A&S,
The Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society, delivered a lecture, “Understanding Islam,” at The Osborne in Rye, NY on May 1. He participated in the Oxford Studies in World Christianity Conference held at the Overseas Ministries Study Center in New Haven, CT, from May 2 to 4.

Hrishikesh D. Vinod, Ph.D., A&S,
professor of economics, has published Handbook of Hindu Economics and Business (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, 2013).

Gregory Waldrop, S.J., A&S,
executive director of University Art Collections, delivered a lecture, “Raphael and Popes, 1508-1520,” for the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums at the Museum of Biblical Art on April 24.

Akane Zusho, Ph.D., GSE,
associate professor of school psychology, was awarded the American Psychological Association Division 15 (Educational Psychology) Richard E. Snow Early Contributions Award.
