costume shop supervisor, traveled to Rwanda as one of the costume designers for the Ubumuntu Arts Festival at the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi in July 2016.

David Budescu, PhD, A&S,
Anne Anastasi Professor of Psychometrics and Quantitative Psychology, delivered the lecture “Lessons for Effective Communication of Imprecise Uncertainty” at the University of Michigan on June 18, 2016.

Alan Clark, PhD, A&S,
associate professor of biology, delivered a presentation entitled “Urban Green Roofs as Functional Wildlife Habitat” at the North American Congress on Conservation Biology on July 19, 2016.

Aimee Meredith Cox, PhD, A&S,
assistant professor of African and African American Studies, choreographed a dance piece for the art performance “ChimaTEK: ChimaCloud Control Center” on June 16, 2016 at the Fulton Center in Lower Manhattan.

Celia B. Fisher, PhD, A&S,
Marie Ward Doty Professor of Psychology and director of the Fordham Center for Ethics Education, co-authored the article “Revising the American Public Health Association’s Public Health Code of Ethics,” which was featured in the July 2016 issue of the American Journal of Public Health.

Elizabeth Johnson, CSJ, A&S,
distinguished professor of theology, received the John Courtney Murray Award from the Catholic Theological Society of America (CTSA) for her ministry on behalf of women at the CTSA conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 9, 2016.

Daniel Alexander Jones, A&S,
associate professor of theater, has been included as an honoree in the YBCA 100, an annual list of inspiring creative minds, makers, and pioneers compiled by the San Francisco-based Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

Daniel Ott, A&S,
assistant professor of music theory and composition, has been commissioned to create a symphonic poem about Mount Rainier’s shrinking glaciers for the Tacoma Symphony and Tacoma Art Museum thanks to a grant by the NEA and National Park Service.

Tiffany Yip, PhD, A&S,
professor of psychology, published the article “Considering Friends Within the Context of Peers in School for the Development of Ethnic / Racial Identity” in the July 2016 issue of Journal of Youth and Adolescence.
