Paul Kantor, Ph.D., A&S,
professor emeritus of political science, published “The Two Faces of American Urban Policy” in theUrban Affairs Review.

Judith M. Kubicki, C.S.S.F., Ph.D., A&S,
associate professor of theology,  presented “Finding the Theological Pulse of a Hymn Text” at the Liturgical Theology Seminar during the annual meeting of the North American Academy of Liturgy (NAAL) on Jan. 4.

James A. Lothian, Ph.D., BUS,
Toppeta Chair in Global Financial Markets and director of the Frank J. Petrilli Center for Research in International Finance, presented “Monetary Policy and the Twin Crises,” at the XXII International Conference on Banking and Finance held at University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome in December.

assistant professor of theology and associate chair for undergraduate studies, presented “The Place of Gender in Catholic Studies” at the American Catholic Historical Association meeting on Jan. 2 to 4.

Aristotle Papanikolaou, Ph.D., A&S,
Archbishop Demetrios Chair of Theology and Culture, professor of theology, and co-founding director of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center, presented “The Ambiguous Other in Orthodox Theology” at The Orthodox and the Other Seminar at the University of Oslo on Dec. 13 to 15.

John C. Seitz, Ph.D., A&S,
assistant professor of theology, was a commentator on the panels “Post-Institutional Catholicism: Reconceptualizing American Catholicism in the Postwar Era” and “Liturgical Imagination and Social Justice: Four Cases in Postconciliar U.S. Catholic Activism” at the American Catholic Historical Association meeting on Jan. 2 to 4.
