Amir Idris, Ph.D., A&S,
professor of African and African American studies, is a recipient of Fordham’s Faculty Fellowship for Spring 2016 for Imagining Political Community beyond Race and Ethnicity in Africa: Lessons Learned from Gandhi, King, and Mandela. Idris also published “Does Ethnicity matter in South Sudan’s Conflict?” in the Sudan Tribune on Jan. 17.
