professor of marketing, has been given the honor of “Outstanding Paper of the Year” in the Journal of Service Management for her paper, “Perceptions are relative: An examination of the relationship between relative satisfaction metrics and share of wallet,” in March 2016.

Thomas M. Beaudoin, PhD, GRE,
associate professor of theology, gave a lecture entitled “Religious ‘Nones’ and Religious ‘Somes’: Intersections Between the Affiliated and the Unaffiliated” on April 1 at the Religion Communicators Council Convention in New York City.

Anne Anastasi Professor of Psychometrics and Quantitative Psychology, published “Eliciting Subjective Probabilities through Pair-wise Comparisons” in the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making in January 2016.

Benjamin Dunning, PhD, A&S,
professor of theology, gave a lecture entitled “John Chrysostom and Same-Sex Eros in the History of Sexuality” at the Center for Late Ancient Studies at Duke University on March 8, 2016.

Quamrul Haider, PhD, A&S,
professor of physics, published “Nuclear Power: From Obninsk to the Post-Fukushima Era” in the latest issue of Energy & Power magazine.

Brenna Moore, PhD, A&S,
associate professor of theology, published a chapter in The Wisdom of Youth: Essays Inspired by the Early Work of Jacques and Raissa Maritain (Catholic University Press of America, 2016) entitled “Out of the Shadows: Raissa Maritain’s Poetry and Struggle to Make Violence Visible.”

Christiana Peppard, PhD, A&S,
assistant professor of theology, science, and ethics, joined an interactive panel at the Untied Nations, “Women, Water, and Wellbeing: The Human Right to Water and Sanitation,” on World Water Day (March 22, 2016).

Michael Peppard, PhD, A&S,
associate professor of theology, gave an invited lecture about his book, The World’s Oldest Church, at the University of Minnesota on March 4, 2016.
