Elaine Congress, DSW, GSS,
associate dean and professor co-published a book entitled Health and Social Work: Practice, Policy, and Research.

Celia B. Fisher, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES,
Marie Ward Doty Professor of Psychology and director of the Fordham Center for Ethics Education, published “Attitudes Toward Fertility and Reproductive Health Among Transgender and Gender-Nonconforming Adolescents”.

Janna C. Hayman, Ph.D., GSS,
professor and Henry C. Ravazzin Chair, co-published a book entitled Health and Social Work: Practice, Policy, and Research.

Amir Idris, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES,
professor and chair in the African American studies, presented a lecture titled “Rethinking South Sudan’s Civil War: History, Identity, and Citizenship” at Worcester World Affairs Council in Massachusetts on March 15.

Stephen A. McGowan, ADM,
has been selected to present at the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals in New Orleans this April. He will be presenting on how to utilize current students at different stages of the admissions process.

Brenna Moore, ThD, ARTS AND SCIENCES,
associate professor of theology, presented the keynote lecture at Seton Hall’s Annual “Teacher Study Day,” a professional development day for public school teachers on the topic of the Holocaust on March 5. Her lecture was “We Carry Our Faith in a Murk of Blood: Catholic Resistance to the Holocaust in France, 1939-1945.” She also presented a paper, “‘That Great Fire of Love Between Friends’: Louis Massignon and Mary Kahil on Catholicism and Islam in the 1950s,” at the French Historical Society Annual Meeting.

Larry L. Welborn, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES,
professor of theology, published the “Introduction and Notes to First Corinthians” in The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha, 5th edition. He also published a new monograph, The Young Against the Old:  Generational Conflict in First Clement.
