Kirk A. Bingaman, Ph.D., GRE, associate professor of pastoral care and counseling, was a keynote presenter and panelist at the April 20-21, 2018 conference, “The Purpose of Pastoral Counseling: A New Frontier in Caring,” held at Facoltà Teologica del Triveneto in Padua, Italy. Earlier the same week at Facoltà Teologica, he served as second faculty supervisor for the PhD dissertation defense of Dr. Barbara Marchica: “The Purpose of Pastoral Counseling: The Dynamics of Conscience Between Interiority and Self-Knowledge in View of Bernard Lonergan’s Theological Anthropology.”

Robert Brancatelli, Ph.D., GABELLI, adjunct professor, contributed three chapters for an online, open source book on Business Ethics published by OpenStax and Rice University.

Elaine P. Congress, DSW, GSS, associate dean and professor, associate director of the Fordham Center for Nonprofit Leaders, Harold Takooshian, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of psychology and urban studies, director of the Organizational Leadership Program and David Vassar, ADM, reference librarian, participated in the World Habitat Day forum on “50 years of environmental psychology” and “Urban problems and solutions” which took place at Fordham University on October 2nd, 2018.

Nora Lester Murad, Ph.D., Instructor at the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs, co-authored a book, Rest in My Shade, that will be released next month by Interlink Books.

Zein Murib, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science, published ““Gay” or “Homosexual”? The Implications of Social Category Labels for the Structure of Mass Attitudes” in SAGE Publications.

Geeta Tewari, SCHOOL OF LAW, associate director and urban law fellow, published flash fiction in the current issue of New England Review.
