In early February, Fordham University asked alumni to share Valentine’s Day “love letters” to their alma mater. The responses showed the many ways in which Fordham has touched the lives of those who have passed through it, from influential professors to lifelong friendships made. “I can’t imagine who I would be if it were not for our time together,” wrote Maria Rowitt Eble, FCRH ’99. Gretchen (Harnig) Piela, FCRH ’88, recalled that when she attended the wedding of her uncle and aunt in the University Church at the age of 14, she “fell in love with Fordham instantly.” To read all the love letters, check out @FordhamAlumni’s album on Facebook.
