Working with Transgender and Gender-Nonconforming Persons

Orlando Torres, associate human rights specialist, and Chanel Lopez, transgender communities liaison, both from the NYC Commission on Human Rights, will discuss protections for transgender and gender-nonconforming persons as it relates to the law. Terminology of gender identity and expression will be reviewed, as well as best practices and case scenarios.
