The 2019 University Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Graduates lineup at 9:30 a.m., and the procession will begin at 10 a.m. All degrees are conferred at the University Commencement ceremony. However, diplomas are not individually distributed to the graduates until the school and college diploma ceremonies.
School and College Diploma Ceremonies at the Rose Hill Campus on Saturday, May 18, 2019
Immediately following the University Commencement, diplomas will be awarded at school and college diploma ceremonies to graduates of the following colleges and schools by their deans:
- Fordham College at Lincoln Center
- Fordham College at Rose Hill
- Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies
- Gabelli School of Business (bachelor’s candidates)
- Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
- Graduate School of Education
- Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education
Tickets are required to the University Commencement and Saturday, May 18 diploma ceremonies ONLY in the event of severe weather.

The Graduate School of Social Service Diploma Ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in the Lombardi Fieldhouse at the Rose Hill campus. Tickets are required.
Monday, May 20, 2019
The School of Law Diploma Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. (student procession at 10 a.m.) in the Lombardi Fieldhouse at the Rose Hill campus. Tickets are required.
The Gabelli School of Business Diploma Ceremony (master’s candidates) will be held at 4 p.m. in the Lombardi Fieldhouse at the Rose Hill campus. Tickets are required.
