Join us for the first annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Awards Competition!

What is 3MT®?

Think Ted Talks for scholars! 3MT® is a competition where students of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences pitch a current research project, including a master’s thesis or dissertation, in front of an audience in a succinct, three-minute presentation.

Open to all master’s and Ph.D. students in the Arts and Sciences, 3MT® builds on a concept originally developed by the University of Queensland. The competition is conducted in partnership with Fordham’s GSAS Futures program, which helps students gain important career-building skills.

Between five to ten students will be selected to participate in the competition.

Your Job?

Come support our students, and learn about their areas of research!

As an audience member, beyond having an incredibly good time, you will be eligible to vote for the People’s Choice Award. People’s Choice will be one of three prizes awarded during the evening by our audience of distinguished alumni, scholars and faculty.

We hope you’ll join us!

Let the games begin.
