The Rise and Fall of Presidential Liberalism

Join us for a short lecture and Q&A with Aziz Rana, Ph.D., professor of law at Cornell University. Rana will discuss the politics and ideology of the American presidency. His research and teaching focus on American constitutional law and political development, especially how shifting notions of race, citizenship, and empire have shaped legal and political identity since the founding of the country. The lecture is part of the Fordham American Studies 2020 Election Lecture Series.
