The Bronx African American History Project (BAAHP) is dedicated to uncovering the cultural, political, economic, and religious histories of the more than 500,000 people of African descent in the Bronx. The panel will feature Mark Naison, Ph.D., professor of history and African and African American Studies; Jane Edward, Ph.D., clinical associate professor, African and African American Studies; Veronica Quiroga, FCRH ’20; and Bethany Fernandez, FCRH ’22.
