IPED Lecture: Topics on the Sahel

Join the International and Political Economy and Development program for a lecture with Denis Owiny, who is pursuing a Master of Science degree in international relations and affairs at Georgetown University. In fall 2023, he interned with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., where he worked with the African Studies department. Previously, he served as the assistant editor of Hansard with the Parliament of Uganda. His research expertise spans across multiple topics concerning African affairs, such as conflict, mobilization, and politics.

This event consists of a 30-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q&A session.

This event is open to alumni, faculty/staff, parents, students, and the public.
