UPDATE: New York City Tornado Watch

WEATHER UPDATE: All campuses of Fordham University are operating normally, and all classes will proceed as scheduled, as of 5 a.m., Sept. 19, 2012.

Today, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, a Tornado Watch and Wind Advisory have been issued for the New York City metropolitan area. Forecasts of high, damaging winds of 50-plus miles per hour are expected throughout the evening.

You are advised to remain indoors and away from windows for the duration of these watches and warnings. All Rose Hill campus classes that begin at 6:30 p.m. or later, and all Westchester campus classes that begin at 6 p.m. or later this evening are cancelled. Classes at the Lincoln Center will continue as scheduled.
