Boot Camp for Entrepreneurs Kicks off at Graduate School of Business Administration

0

Fordham Startups, a Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration (GBA) initiative dedicated to the success of entrepreneurs through community, empowerment and sustainability practices, launches a new series of workshops and classes this fall.

The deadline for a two-part intensive “Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp,” which is open to the public, is Monday, Sept. 10.

Part one—a three-session program called the Idea Gym—is geared toward helping budding entrepreneurs who want to test-drive a new business concept that is under development. Participants creatively brainstorm possibilities, provide feedback, and critically evaluate business concepts—ultimately preparing a business idea for part two of the initiative. Sessions are offered Sept. 11, 18, and 25.

Part two, Fordham Startups, begins on Oct. 1 and meets Monday evenings at the Lincoln Center campus. A pre-incubator program designed to educate, support, and inspire entrepreneurs of all ages who want to launch a business, the program is a 10-week learning experience to help participants gain an appreciation for, and knowledge of, the partnership building, strategy, and tactical execution required to accelerate a startup business.
