Newport News, Va. – (October 2, 2023) – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its weekly women’s soccer awards today with Fordham goalkeeper Serena Mensah (Bowie, Md.) being named the league’s Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman midfielder Lena Johnsen (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) was selected as the league’s Rookie of the Week.
