The awards continue to roll in for junior All-American Jen Mineau: She added the ECAC Pitcher of the Week distinction for April 4-10 to her list of superlatives for this season. This award accompanies her Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week honor for the same week.

Mineau had three appearances—against the Hofstra Pride, George Washington Colonials and La Salle Explorers. Against the Pride on April 6, she came out of the bullpen to throw four scoreless innings. She allowed just three hits and one walk, while striking out five.

Her highlight of the week was a no-hitter thrown on April 8 against the Colonials. The 3-0 win was her sixth career no-hit game and her first of 2011. She finished with one walk against 12 strikeouts and faced just four batters over the minimum.

Although Mineau surrendered a hit in her final start of the week on April 10 against La Salle, that game was perhaps her best. In the complete game, no Explorers base runners got past first base. Fordham won 8-0 in five innings, and once again Mineau reached double figures in strikeouts, with 13.

In total, she struck out 30, didn’t allow a run and scattered just four hits in 16 innings of work. She posted an amazing 15:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
