Poets Out Loud Returns for Spring Semester

Poet’s Out Loud, Fordham’s showcase for verse and rhyme, returns for the first of three spring semester readings on Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Lincoln Center Campus.

The evening will feature readings by Peter Constantine and Idra Novey.

Constantine is a British and American award-winning literary translator who has translated literary works from German, Russian, French, Modern Greek, Ancient Greek, Italian, Albanian, Dutch, and Slovene.

Novey is an American poet, professor, and translator whose tome Exit, Civilian (University of Georgia Press 2012) was a 2011 National Poetry Series Winner.

Chris Brandt, an adjunct professor in the communications and media studies and English departments at Fordham will follow their readings with a panel discussion.
