Fordham Philosophy to Host 37th Annual International Merleau-Ponty Circle

Fordham will host the 37th Annual International Merleau-Ponty Circle, gathering students and scholars from around the world to discuss the achievements of French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty.

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day
12th Floor Lounge, Lowenstein Center | Lincoln Center Campus

Keynote speakers will include Lisa Guenther, Ph.D., associate professor philosophy at Vanderbilt University, and Gail Weiss, Ph.D., chair and professor of philosophy and human sciences at George Washington University.

The conference will also feature the annual M. C. Dillon Memorial Lecture, which recognizes the best paper submitted to the conference by a graduate student. The winning paper will be published in Chiasmi International, a peer-reviewed, trilingual journal that publishes essays on Merleau-Ponty.
