On Feb. 6, four Arts and Sciences faculty members were recognized for excellence in teaching at this year’s Arts and Sciences Faculty Day, held in the new Law School building on Lincoln Center’s campus.

This year’s winners were Peggy Andover, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology, who received the award for Distinguished Teaching in the Sciences; Rev. Michael Tueth, S.J., associate professor of communication and media studies, who received the award for Distinguished Teaching in the Social Sciences; Matthew Gelbart, Ph.D., associate professor of music, who received the award for Distinguished Teaching in the Humanities; and John Bugg, Ph.D., associate professor of English, who received the award for Distinguished Teaching in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
