NEW YORK— The U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, James C. Kenny, will speak at Fordham University on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. in room 816 of the Lowenstein building on the Lincoln Center Campus.   The lecture will be hosted by Fordham’s Institute of Irish Studies.

In his presentation, “Report From Ireland,” Kenny will highlight his experiences as the acting diplomat in Ireland. Prior to assuming this post in 2003, Kenny was executive vice president of Kenny Construction Company and president of Kenny Management Services. Kenny also served on the transition teams for President George W. Bush (2000-01) and for Illinois Governors James Edgar (1991) and George Ryan (1998-99).
