It was a spring fling at Fordham University from April 26 to 29, as thousands of students took part in Spring Weekend festivities at the Rose Hill campus.

The featured event was a concert by pop-punk band Yellowcard on Saturday, April 28, at Martyrs’ Lawn, and festivities ranged from the traditional 3k run around the Rose Hill campus to a comedy show.

Spring Weekend, organized by the Campus Activities Board, is held annually as a celebration of the completion of the academic year and as a way for students to have fun and relax before the start of finals.

The theme of this year’s celebration was the Best Weekend Ever. The comedy show featured Johnny Cardinale and other comedians from VH1’s Best Week Ever performing a live version of the show.
Other events included a dance inside a tent at Martyrs’ Lawn, a performance by the Ramblers, a Fordham vocal ensemble, and even the Fordham rugby team’s annual Irish-Italian game at Murphy Field.
