Leonard Cassuto, Ph.D., A&S,
professor of English, has been nominated for a 2009 Edgar Award in the Best Critical/Biographical book entry, for Hard-Boiled Sentimentality: The Secret History of American Crime Stories (Columbia University Press, 2008.). The winners will be announced at the 63rd Annual Edgar Awards Banquet on April 30 in New York City.

associate professor of communications and media management and director of the Donald McGannon Communication Research Center, published an article titled “Paradoxes of Media Policy Analysis,” in the latest issue of the Administrative Law Review. He also published “Rethinking the Media Ownership Policy Agenda,” in the new edited volume, …And Communications for All: A Policy Agenda for a New Administration (Lexington Books, 2009).
