professor of communication and media studies, interviewed Matt Damon and Hal Holbrook after a screening of Promised Land for the Screen Actors Guild. He also interviewed NPR journalist and author Brooke Gladstone for a seminar held by the Center for Communication, which was later broadcast on C-SPAN.

Travis L. Russ, Ph.D., BUS,
assistant professor of communication, presented a paper, “Assessing the Impact of a Training Simulation on Participants’ Self-perceptions” at the annual meeting of the National Communication Association in Orlando, Fla. His paper won the Best Paper Award in the Training and Development Division.
