Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, Jr. will deliver his seventh State of the Borough Address at the Rose Hill Gymnasium in the Vincent T. Lombardi Memorial Center on Friday, Feb. 8 at 9 a.m.

Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham University, will introduce the borough president.

The address will cover developments in the Bronx during Carrion’s seven-year tenure as borough president. Carrion, who will leave office at the end of next year due to term limits, has already announced his intention to seek the Democratic Party’s nomination for city controller in 2009.

The address is expected to draw about 1,000 people. It will be carried live on News 12 The Bronx and Broxnet Community Television.
