Seeking Refuge in New York: Perspectives from Asylum Seekers

Thursday, April 20, 2017
3 – 5 p.m.
McGinley Ballroom
Second Floor, McGinley Center, Rose Hill Campus, 441 E. Fordham Rd.
Bronx, NY 10458

The event will feature a panel discussion of asylum seekers and representatives of two organizations in New York City, The Refuge and Immigrant Fund (RiF), and RDJ Refugee Shelter. This will be a great opportunity to hear from individuals who are currently seeking asylum in the United States, learn more about the process, and hear first-hand experiences.

There will also be a photo exhibit and a short video. Cookies and coffee will be served. Co-sponsored with the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA).
